Vertigo Small Pendant Light – Black 10 years after the iconic Vertigo suspension light was launched, it now comes in a new size (110cm) and is available in just two colours: black and white

Intended for smaller spaces, the 110cm Vertigo suspension is just as poetic and weightless as the other models in the collection. Like most of Petite Friture’s lights, it is made in France. The ribbons are hand-glued in APF France Handicap workshops, a not-for-profit advocating an open, inclusive, and solidarity-based society. The choice to work with such a partner for Vertigo was made right from the outset. It reflects how Amelie du Passage, founder of Petite Friture, strives “to make good emerge from beauty”.

Ideal for smaller spaces, the black 110 cm Vertigo suspension is a light-sculpture that can fill any space with its presence.

Vertigo was one of the first very large design chandeliers and has largely irrigated the reflection on this type of lightings. The ambition was to develop a graphic design pendant light of a scale of 6 and ½ feet for the large Vertigo pendant lamp, while making it very light and airy to bring movement. An optimistic and generous dialogue with Constance Guisset has allowed a strong emulsion on materials and a manufacture made in France. In order for Vertigo to shudder with the vibrations of the air, the structure was made of fiberglass with ribbons in polyurethane placed by hand.

Ribbons give this pendant light a wired character. The latter is appreciated in the visual of the lamp but also by the thread it weaves with the spaces it signs.

The play of shadows and light ribbons on the walls reinforces the graphic dimension of Vertigo. This aesthetic echoes Petite Friture’s own markers: graphics, geometry, detail and finish.
